We hope you can attend the race, but if you can't we hope you will use this site to follow the race from start to finish. If you can make the race, why not plan an entire weekend in the Dubois area?

We Do Events, Inc. (WeDo) of Dubois filed as a Wyoming non-profit corporation on October 8, 1999. The organization was formed in 1996 to bring the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR) to Dubois in January 1997. During its second year, it added the first annual Dubois Sled Dog and Skijoring Races (DSDR) to promote amateur racing and to introduce youth to the sports of sled dog racing and skijoring (skier pulled by dogs). Since its inception, the DSDR has hosted participants from as many as eight other states and numerous Wyoming communities.

Previous operating names have included "IPSSSDR Dubois" and "Dubois Sled Dog Races". The new name, We Do Events, Inc. was chosen by its all volunteer board of directors to represent its mission to "provide local economic development through the promotion of public events." WeDo's six member board of directors is supported by a volunteer crew of local residents numbering as many as fifty during the race weekend.
We are happy to be able to announce that last year's race boasted a $3,500.00 purse. We have dates set for the 2012 DSDR and Winterfest: February 3, 4 and 5, 2012.

A big thanks to The Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources who have provided us with video footage off of their "Wyoming Folks: don't hibernate" DVD past year's races. Each clip is fairly large and requires Windows Media Player to view so allow download time and if you are on a dial-up connection please allow the clip to download completely before you try to view.
